Automotive Glass Europe and Dow Automotive have made a next step on the harmonization of adhesives used by AGE’s Partners. Representatives of both signed a contract for future co-operation.

‘Dow Automotive’s Betaseal systems are more and more in use with our Partners for bonding and sealing automotive glass’ says Pim de Ridder, managing director of AGE. ‘Partners are aware of the very good performance and the reduced assembling times of Betaseal systems. Adhesive is crucial of course to provide the best service to our customers. This knowledge is shared within our network with help from Dow Automotive. Not only on the products, but also on training of and information for our technicians’.

Terry Radcliff, global aftermarket commercial director of Dow Automotive, was pleased to put his signature on the contract. ‘Whatever top quality product we invent and manufacture for the AGRR market, at the very end it is our customer who has the final hand in the entire process. Within AGE we found an alliance investing a lot on the quality of the services provided’.

The Automotive Glass Europe network covers 15 countries. Pim de Ridder concludes: ‘The daily operations of our Partners are more and more harmonised. This contract with Dow Automotive will make this process easier’.
